What could be more appropriate than to pay tribute to the sinister 2001 cult movie Donnie Darko with three tracks of menacing industrial techno? Hidden Rooms lives up to the challenge, with firm 130bpm beats, atmospheric breaks and different flavors of the day. I.e. acidic buildup („Daylight Hallucinations“), washes of distortion („The Tangent Universe“) and a melodic hook that will stick forever („A Storm is coming“). With a perfect balance of underground grit and slick groove, these three tracks are made for club exposure!
